    Using the name Dame D.O.L.L.A., former Weber State and current Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard released a rap album in October 2016 titled "The Letter O" to pay tribute to Oakland, California, where he grew up; Ogden, Utah, where he burst onto the basketball scene, and Oregon, where he now makes a living. One of the songs is titled "Wasatch Front," where he reflects on the journey he took during his time with the Wildcats, starting out as a relative unknown who felt alone in Ogden and ending as the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft.
