    The recent announcement that Mallory Pugh will turn pro and forego even playing a single game at UCLA is a logical decision for her but, as a fan of UCLA athletics, leaved me gutted. On one hand, I understand that playing college ball would be a step down for Mallory Pugh at this point, and she probably would not have gotten better against collegiate competition in what would have likely been one season at UCLA.
