Albany held a 47-24 edge in rebounds and shot .552 in the second half, compared to .333 for Marist.

    EDISON, New Jersey Senior Joseph Radin was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Preseason Player of the Year and the defending MAAC Champion Marist men's lacrosse team was picked at the top of the coaches' poll during the conference's inaugural Preseason Awards Show on Dec. 9. Junior J.D. Recor , sophomore Gannon Morrison and junior Frankie Brier joined Radin on the Preseason All-MAAC Team as Marist led all schools with four selections. Radin was unanimously voted Preseason Player of the Year by the league's seven head coaches and Morrison earned all seven votes for his spot on the All-MAAC Team.
