Sophomore Palmer Weimann became the third runner this season to qualify for the IC4A Championships in the 10,000-meter run.

Recor became the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference all-time assists leader as the Marist men's lacrosse team defeated Canisius, 8-5, in a 2017 MAAC Championships semifinal May 5 in Tenney Stadium. Recor helped out on a goal from junior Gannon Morrison at 4:28 of the second quarter for his 130th career assist, surpassing the former record set by Manhattan's Eugene Tanner in 2005.

    Marist women's lacrosse senior goalkeeper Abigail Witczak was selected Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year in the 2017 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Awards Show on May 4. Witczak took the first ever honor handed out by the conference, as there was only a Defensive Player of the Year award in previous years. She was selected in a vote by the league's nine head coaches.

    Marist women's lacrosse sophomore midfielder Hailey Wagner was selected Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Student-Athlete of the Week, it was announced May 1. Wagner broke her own Marist record for draw controls in a single-game by winning 21 when the Red Foxes took down Quinnipiac in the first round of the 2017 MAAC Championships on April 29. Her performance tied for the most draw controls in a single NCAA game this year and tied for second in an NCAA contest all time. This year she has racked up 127 draw controls, which shatters the old Marist single-season mark.

    Marist men's lacrosse swept the final Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference weekly awards of the 2017 regular season announced May 1. Freshman Joe Tierney , redshirt junior Brian Corrigan , and freshman Michael Smith were selected the Offensive, Defensive, and Rookie Of The Week respectively. Tierney assisted on the game-winning goal with six seconds left as Marist erased a four-goal deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat Siena on April 29. His score at 9:47 of the fourth quarter kick started a 5-0 run for the Red Foxes, who came out on top, 6-5, for their fourth straight win and denied the Saints a MAAC Championship berth.

Mehalick posted her seventh hat trick of the season when Marist beat Siena, 19-6, on April 26 to clinch a host seed in the first round of the MAAC Championships. All six of her shots came on goal and she had a ground ball and a draw control on the defensive end.
