    Senior captain Ashley Haynes had a remarkable start to her 2016-17 indoor season as the Marist women's indoor track team competed at the Metro Holiday Season Opener on Dec. 2. Haynes set a new school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.93 seconds in the trials, then improved the mark to 7.92 seconds in the final to finish in fourth place. The new mark of 7.92 seconds is 0.03 faster than Danielle Asaro 's 2015 school record.
