Marist was one of 92 Division I programs to earn the Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad distinction. To qualify for the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, a team must post a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

    LEXINGTON, Kentucky - For the 11th straight year, the Marist volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches' Association Team Academic Award. The AVCA honored a record 822 teams for this achievement in 2016-17, it was announced July 24. The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, recognizes collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale or a 4.10 cumulative team GPA on a 5.0 scale.

Maryland short stick midfielder Isaiah Davis-Allen received the 2017 Senior CLASS Award in men's lacrosse after nearly four weeks of fan voting combined with votes from lacrosse media members and Division I head coaches.
