    Marist women' lacrosse senior Abigail Witczak earned a spot on the All-Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Second Team, it was announced May 16. Representatives from Division I women's lacrosse programs voted for the honor handed out by the regional conference. Witczak was selected as the first ever Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year at the end of the regular season May 4. She was in the cage for every minute of the Red Foxes' 2017 campaign and she ended her career tied for first in program history with 71 games played.

    The Marist College women's track team ended its 2017 season in record-setting fashion, with a fantastic finale at the 34th annual ECAC Championships, held on Friday and Sunday at William Weaver Track Stadium on the campus of Princeton University. On Sunday, the 3,200-meter relay team of Shea Bohan , Emily Burns , Jenna Robinson and Denise Grohn placed seventh overall in 9:06.60, eclipsing the two-year-old school record in the event by 3.31 seconds.

Recor helped out on a goal from junior Gannon Morrison at 4:28 of the second quarter for his 130th career assist, surpassing the former record set by Manhattan's Eugene Tanner in 2005.

    Marist women's lacrosse senior goalkeeper Abigail Witczak was selected Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year in the 2017 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Awards Show on May 4. Witczak took the first ever honor handed out by the conference, as there was only a Defensive Player of the Year award in previous years. She was selected in a vote by the league's nine head coaches.
