Participating teams include Patriot League foe Holy Cross and LIU Post for the women and Springfield and Division II NCAA Champions Merrimack for the men. The ETC Fall Lacrosse Tournament is held each year to honor the late Marist men's lacrosse midfielder Edward Coombs, who tragically passed away in August 2011 prior to the start of his sophomore year.
