    Recent Loyola University Maryland graduate Franz Rassman , a three-year starter on the Greyhounds men's basketball team, was named the Corvias Patriot League Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year on Tuesday, an award voted on by conference member schools that honors the top performer in the classroom and competition. Rassman graduated in May with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance while compiling a 3.941 grade-point average.

Van Arsdale most recently spent the last 15 seasons as an assistant at the University of Virginia, the previous 10 as the Cavaliers' associate head coach.

UNC will face either Maryland or Brown in the championship game on Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. Cloutier's nine goals set a career high and a school record, are the most in any NCAA championship weekend game in history and tied the overall NCAA Tournament record.

Lesher, a defender from Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, picked up her third-straight All-America honor, being included on the second team, while Wolf, a goalkeeper from Baltimore, Maryland, was named to the third-team.

Tubman, who played at Loyola from 1984-1987 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology after his final season, was a key cog in Calvert Hall College High School's 1982 National Championship Team.
