    Following Saturday's emotional victory against arch-rival Norfolk State, Hampton University struggled but survived for a 69-67 victory Tuesday night against NAIA member Washington Adventist at the HU Convocation Center. Reginald Johnson Jr. scored 30 points for HU, which went on a 15-0 run to overcome a six-point deficit to its visitors from Takoma Park, Md., but almost yielded the victory in the final seconds.
