    Georgia Tech picked up commitment number fifteen of the 2017 cycle over the weekend when Northside quarterback Tobias Oliver announced that he would be joining Paul Johnson on the Flats for a shot at the starting gig in the post-Justin Thomas era. A three-star quarterback according to 247Sports and a two-star prospect according to other outlets, Oliver chose Tech over a reported offer from Troy and interest from UGA, Georgia Southern, and others.

After what has been a pretty busy last semester for me, I'm hoping to be back writing a good bit more for the website, and I wanted to come back with something that I absolutely love writing about: SPECULATION!!! Yay!! In case you didn't hear, the Georgia State Panthers dismissed head coach Trent Miles earlier this season, following his 2-8 start. He finished with a 9-38 record, which was highlighted by his 2015 season, where the Panthers finished fourth in the Sun Belt with a 6-7 record, which featured a victory over the Georgia Southern Eagles and the program's first ever bowl game appearance.

    The ACC released its 2016 All-Conference teams yesterday afternoon, and our sincerest congratulations go out to Tech's three representatives: center Freddie Burden, kicker Harrison Butker, and defensive tackle Patrick Gamble. Butker and Gamble were both named to the Honorable Mention team, having received 34 and 23 points in the voting procedure, respectively, and Burden was named to the Third Team for his excellent senior campaign on the Flats.
