    It appears that the second recruit named Demetris was the charm for Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson, who secured his eighth commitment for the 2017 class this afternoon in the form of Jacksonville offensive lineman Demetris Harris: Harris, a three-star guard prospect out of Robert E. Lee High School, chose the Yellow Jackets over his two other finalists, Wake Forest and South Florida. His resume also features strong offers from Georgia Southern and Central Florida among others, but a combination of an exceedingly positive camp experience on The Flats and a strong academic desire propelled Tech to the forefront for the 6-foot-3, 283-pound guard.
