Bucknell, Colgate, and Holy Cross began the season last weekend, while Lehigh opens its schedule with Morgan State on Friday, February 24. Lafayette is the final team to begin its season, playing Coppin State on Friday, March 3 in the UMBC/Coppin St. 1st Pitch Classic in Baltimore. On Tuesday, the Patriot League announced its first week of awards in softball with two players from Boston University and one from Bucknell being recognized.
