He's just going to have to head north of the border: Uthoff's "partially guaranteed" deal means that the Raptors only have to pay him a certain portion of the total value of the contract if they decide to waive him.

    Earlier reports, including from Adrian Wojanrowski of the Vertical stated that New Orleans was an early front-runner to host the game, but other cities were in the mix. Unfortunately, one of those "other cities" doesn't appear to be Washington, D.C. In fact, no one at Monumental Sports has expressed interest to the NBA about hosting a game according to Andy Medici of the Washington Business Journal.
