    Though there was little intrigue surrounding who would go 1-2 in the Globe's third annual NBA beat writers mock draft - Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer selected Washington guard Markelle Fultz first and the Los Angeles Daily News's Mark Medina took UCLA guard Lonzo Ball second - the rest of the top 10 was more of an unknown. Five guards were off the board in the top eight picks, and six total were taken in the top 10, including Kentucky's De'Aaron Fox and Malik Monk at Nos.
