Recording and touring together for over a decade, the band returns often to Upstate New York but they haven't played in Syracuse since 2009 at the Westcott Theater . The group consists of brothers Scott Avett and Seth Avett, who play the banjo and guitar respectively, Tania Elizabeth on violin, Bob Crawford on stand-up bass, Joe Kwon on cello, Paul Defiglia on keyboard/organ and Mike Marsh on drums.
