Argo"), from a screenplay by Ann Arbor native David S. Goyer, who wrote "Man of Steel." He plays one of the most terrifying villains on television, but Hafthor Julius Bjornsson is even scarier in real life. Towering 6 feet 9 inches and weighing 419 pounds, Bjornsson is an absolute mountain of a man. That's appropriate, because his character in "Game of Thrones," Gregor Clegane, is nicknamed the Mountain That Rides. The Icelandic hulk is actually a professional strongman, who spends much of his time lifting huge weights and pulling trucks with ropes, among other things. "During the audition I lifted a guy up (well, he asked me to), and they were really impressed," he says. Angelina Jolie may be Hollywood royalty. But she's no princess, and has never been a fan of the Disney variety. "I found them quite dull," the actress says. Evil Maleficent, whom Jolie portrays in Disney's new live-action spin on its animated classic "Sleeping Beauty," conversely "seemed to be having a great time," Jolie said. "(Maleficent) is kind of an antihero for the odd man out," Jolie continued. "And, when she feels abused, or when somebody hurts her, she then says, 'Oh, all right. You're going to mess with me? Watch me.' " Pearl Jam will play Joe Louis Arena on Oct. 16. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 30 through Ticketmaster and the box offices at Joe Louis and the Fox Theatre. Abrams' Bad Robot production company have launched the new initiative Star Wars: Force for Change to raise funds, build awareness and work on programs for the United Nations Children's Fund's (UNICEF) Innovation Labs in order to benefit kids around the world. Disney is kicking in $1 million to start Star Wars: Force for Change, but fans have a chance to donate as well be a part of "Star Wars" lore at Omaze.com/StarWars. Each $10 contribution automatically enters eligible participants for a chance to win a grand prize that includes a trip to the closed London set of "Star Wars: Episode VII" as VIP guests. The main attraction, though, is the winner and a guest will be transformed by costume and makeup into a "Star Wars" character and filmed for a scene in the new movie. The forthcoming memoir, "Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography," uses the "Choose Your Own Adventure" style to tell the "Hedwig and the Angry inch" star's life. Harris unveiled the format, along with his book's quirky cover, on Twitter. "In this revolutionary, Joycean experiment in light celebrity narrative, actor/personality/carbon-based life-form Neil Patrick Harris lets you, the reader, live his life," the book's promotional statement announced. "You will be born in New Mexico. You will get your big break at an acting camp. You will get into a bizarre confrontation outside a nightclub with actor Scott Caan," the announcement continues. "You will decide whether to try out for 'Doogie Howser, M.D.," the statement adds. "You will decide whether to spend years struggling with your sexuality. You will decide what kind of caviar you want to eat on board Elton John's yacht." The book comes out Oct. 14.
