    Yellow Cab Louisville is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot one of its drivers earlier this week. The cab driver, who has been identified as Abdirahman Gelle Mohamed by community activist Christopher 2X, was shot about 3 a.m. Thursday morning in the 3200 block of Hale Avenue in the Parkland neighborhood.

    Kentucky Wesleyan College Sports Information Director Roy Pickerill '75, who recently completed his 41st year at the college, has announced he will step down from his current role, effective August 15. He will remain at the college as the Special Assistant for College Relations, serving as an ambassador for alumni relations, development, and public relations efforts as part of the advancement division. Pickerill will also be named Sports Information Director Emeritus and maintain his current regional and national professional affiliations.

    The Ohio State Highway Patrol says traffic first halted around 8:15 p.m. due to a minor crash involving three semi trucks near mile marker 33.8. Another crash occurred not long after, near mile maker 32, when a semi crashed into three others, one of which was a tanker truck carrying 3,000 gallons of liquid Hydrogen. The driver of the tanker truck sustained only minor injuries.
