    Murder victim Heather Nicole Maples was found dead in her living room on a mattress early Aug. 7, beaten, strangled and possibly sexually assaulted after a night of partying with male friends, according to a search warrant. Police officers arrived at 910 Brown Drive, apartment 222, around 9:25 a.m. that day and saw Maples, 22, lying on her stomach.
