Since performing their first liver transplant in 1999, ISMETT surgeons have transplanted 863 livers from deceased donors and 116 from living donors, as well as 21 lung-liver and kidney-liver combinations.

The study of 397 patients the largest of its kind to date demonstrated that those who were switched from reference infliximab to biosimilar infliximab demonstrated comparable efficacy to those patients receiving a biosimilar who had previously been naA ve to anti-TNFI and to those receiving a biosimilar who had previously been exposed to one or more biologics .
