    The Clarkson University softball posted contrasting wins in gaining a nonconference sweep over Raquette River rival SUNY Potsdam on Wednesday at Scott Field as the Golden Knights won 5-4 in extras in the opener and then won by run-rule 13-2 in the nightcap. The Golden Knights improved to 18-14 on the season while the Bears fell to 8-21.
