Ritz also indicated that the Department of Education will seek legislative support to remove the social studies portions for grades 5 and 7, which she says will drop their test time by an additional hour.

The Railroaders hosted an intrasquad scrimmage for the DeKalb County Special Olympics basketball program between the junior varsity and varsity games Thursday, and though one team did actually score more baskets than the other , everyone in the gymnasium went home with smiles on their faces after watching these teams compete - but mostly just have fun - for 20 minutes.
