The Lakeland seventh grade girls' basketball team participated in the Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament hosted by D. C. Everest, Marathon, Mosinee and Wausau East on April 7 and 8. This elite tournament, which is organized by The Great Northwest Basketball League, brought together 71 of the top community-based seventh grade girls' basketball teams from all across the State of Wisconsin to play either six or seven games over the two-day weekend.
