To me, underrated doesn't just mean that the player doesn't get the national recognition he deserves , but instead that Vikings fans as a whole take them for granted. There are a few examples that come to mind: If Harrison Smith wasn't around to show everyone in MN what a real safety looks like, would we respect Sendejo that much more? Death, taxes, and Marcus Sherels making the Vikings roster.
