    After being fired from the Inkster Police Department, Bill "Robocop" Melendez has officially been charged three charges including felony assault, mistreatment of a prisoner and misconduct in the brutal beating of Floyd Dent, an upstanding grandfather and Ford Motor employee, outside of Detroit, Michigan. A drug possession charge against the man, Floyd Dent, 57, will be dropped, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said.
