    Ford must be feeling pretty nostalgic because the automaker announced it would bring back yet another classic in the Mustang GT500 at the Detroit auto show. The Dearborn, Michigan-based automaker presented the Mustang Shelby GT500 during a reception at its booth on the floor of the Cobo Center in Downtown Detroit Monday night, Jan. 15. The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will return with a V8 projected 700 horsepower -- "twice as powerful as the original 1967 Mustang performance model" -- in 2019.

Ford also had its newly-announced diesel option for the F-150 and Edge ST SUV on display during the press conference at the Cobo Center in Downtown Detroit. Before the Ranger was brought onto the stage, Ford had people in attendance pick up a special key fob and vote on what they wanted to happen in the video presentation as it happened.
