Yanfeng U.S. Automotive Interior Systems LLC is laying off an additional 10 positions at its facility on Mount Hope Highway in Lansing, according to a Nov. 27 letter sent to the Michigan Workforce Development Agency.

    Police believe an 8-year-old Detroit boy accidentally ingested the powerful narcotic fentanyl while at a party in July, leading to his death, despite what family members believed caused his death. According to the Associated Press, Jamere Arnold's autopsy revealed that while family members indicated he drunk an alcoholic beverage before going into cardiac arrest, the boy actually died from a fentanyl overdose.
