Michael Patrick Steer has been charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide and one count of criminal vehicular operation in connection with the crash, which happened last Wednesday on Highway 12 in Delano.

    Over the last 20 years, Wright County has made it a policy to be conservative on revenue projections and not budgeting for anticipated revenues that come annually, such as significant refunds from the Minnesota Counties Intergovernmental Trust. One of the primary reasons for that is so, if there is a year-end surplus, that money can be directed for high-ticket item projects and not bond for those projects.
