    Voters in Wood County are being asked to approve a $41 million school bond issue in next Tuesday's election that, among other projects, would pay for a new elementary school in the Williamstown area. The county school system will ask the state School Building Authority for additional funds totaling $10 million if the bond passes, Wood County Deputy School Superintendent Mike Fling said.

    The following indictments were returned Monday by a special session of the Wood County Grand Jury, according to a release from county Prosecutor Jason Wharton: * William Luther Andrews IV, 62, of 629 31st St., Parkersburg, was indicted on five counts of first-degree sexual abuse and four counts of sexual abuse by a custodian in connection with incidents that occurred in April 2014 and March, April and November 2015. * Oakley Mason Cheuvront, 23, currently incarcerated at the North Central Regional Jail in West Union, was indicted on three counts of fraudulent use of an access device and one count each of breaking and entering, petit larceny and destruction of property from July.
