According to a preliminary crash report by ASP, Rickey Rutherford, 57, of Bald Knob, was heading south on Highway 167, at around 9 p.m. The investigating officer states that when Rutherford got about 2 miles north of Bald Knob he tried to negotiate a downhill curve on a wet road.
