    A Wexford County judge denied Prosecuting Attorney Anthony Badovinac's attempt to have convicted murderer Erik Robert Beauchamp sentenced as a habitual offender. On Thursday, Judge William Fagerman denied Badovinac's notice of intent to seek an enhanced sentence for Beauchamp, 35, in the shooting death of estranged girlfriend Lindsey Morgan, 34. William Barnett, Beauchamp's attorney, said that by his calculation, the habitual offender notice might have meant more than 12 additional years added to his client's potential sentence.
