    Law enforcement officials are investigating the death of a 17-month-old Riverside girl after the Washington County medical examiner ruled her death was a homicide. The medical examiner told the Des Moines Register Avery McCoy weighed 11 pounds when she died in November 2016.

Washington County Conservation director Steve Anderson reported today that there was no damage to the range as a result of the fire, no one was injured in the fire, and that the range still is open for use.
