Timothy Oakley of Oakley Collier Architects had suggested modifying the still-unsigned agreement with the county by deleting references to lump sum dollar amounts, stipulating that design and engineering fees be based on 9 percent of construction costs, reducing an outstanding invoice to $42,000 and proceeding to execute the agreement.

Newsom team, coached by Larry West, has only lost one game in the last two seasons, capturing the local Warren County League title, the regular season Henderson-Vance League title and the Henderson-Vance League tournament title during each of the past two summers.
