    Utah Lake was closed Friday after samples indicated a high "concentration of algal cells in the water" that could be a health risk to people or animals. Samples taken by the Utah Department of Environmental Quality indicated algal cells are three times more than what is required to close down a body of water, state health officials from the Utah County Health Department and Utah Department of Health said Friday.
