    A joint investigation by several law enforcement agencies has resulted in indictments for a Union County, Tennessee woman accused of misusing her position as owner and operator of a medical clinic to commit a variety of crimes, including identity theft. According to a report from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation , agents in its Drug Investigation Division began investigating Kristi Lynn Walker, who owned and operated Quality Medical Center in Maynardville, in February 2015.

Rebecca Ailor was indicted for theft and tampering with evidence by a Union County Grand Jury on May 18. The comptroller's office said she admitted to investigators she wrote unauthorized checks for her personal benefit, falsified signatures and falsely recorded many of the payments to hide their true purpose.
