    Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials announced Tuesday that an 8-ton weight limit has been posted for the Prestonville Bridge in Carrollton, Ky. A recent load analysis on the bridge which carries traffic traveling on U.S. 42 over the Kentucky River determined that the weight-carrying capacity should be reduced to 16,000 pounds due to the deterioration of superstructure components, a release from KYTC District 6 said.
