    Stark County commissioners appointed Plain Township trustee Louis Giavasis to serve as interim county clerk of courts effective Aug. 1. The move was made at the request of Stark County Clerk of Courts Nancy S. Reinbold, who is retiring effective Friday, after serving in the elected post for eight years. Giavasis has served as administrator for the title department for the past eight years, according to Reinhold's letter dated July 13. "He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the auto title department and has also been deeply involved in the impending electronic filing systems since the implementation process began.
