    A Seneca County woman is dead after sheriff's deputies say the car she was riding in slammed into a tractor trailer in the town of Fayette around 5 p.m. Wednesday. Sheriff's deputies say a tractor trailer was pulling out of a bean field on West River Road when it was hit by a car driven by 87-year-old Floyd Jones.

The collision happened on Yellow Tavern Road in the town of Waterloo around 8:30 p.m. Deputies say the driver of the rig was attempting to back off of the road when the Mustang, driven by Ronald Swinehart, 58, collided with the trailer section of the truck.
