According to police, a 35-year-old Carsonville woman was driving southbound on Main Street, when she crossed the center line, left the roadway, and stuck a tree.

    According to the Sanilac County Sheriff's Office, Central Dispatch received a call regarding a two-vehicle injury crash on East Peck near Farr Road about 12:55 p.m. on Jan. 12. A 2012 green Ford pickup driven by a 75-year-old man from Croswell with his 43-year-old female passenger was traveling east on Peck when the driver lost control on the icy road and crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, according to Deputy Phil Deacons. The truck struck a 2015 gray Ford pickup pulling an empty livestock trailer driven by a 67-year-old man with a 65-year-old female passenger, both from Jeddo, according to Deacons.
