A wind gust of 60 mph was reported in Beardstown where a few trees were snapped and uprooted along US Route 67. The second report came out of northern Sangamon county, near Williamsville of a 65 mph wind gust at 7:32 PM.

    Foodbank officials say the pantry will be located at 1004 South 4th Street in Springfield, with food beginning to be distributed at 11:00 a.m. Officials also say the mobile pantry aims to help as many of the nearly 27,000 food-insecure individuals in Sangamon County as possible. The Central Illinois Foodbank helps distribute millions of pounds of food to nearly 150 pantries, soup kitchens, and various programs in a 21-county region.

Sangamon County Circuit Court records indicate 28-year-old Andrea Little pleaded guilty Thursday to charges of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and traffic charges.

    Sangamon County Coroner Cinda Edwards says an autopsy has been conducted on 55-year-old Grant Ward of Petersburg, and preliminary results indicate he died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. Illinois State Troopers say Ward didn't appear to be wearing a seat belt when his jeep went off Illinios Route 97 near Salisbury Road around 6:20pm Wednesday, causing the vehicle to strike a power pole.

    In an update to a story WAND brought you last night , the Sangamon County Coroner has released the identity of a Petersburg man who died in a single-vehicle crash on Route 97 Wednesday evening. Coroner Cinda Edwards says Grant Ward, 55, was pronounced dead at Memorial Medical Center's Emergency Room at 7:16 p.m. Illinois State Police say the crash happened at about 6:22 p.m., and that a 1983 Jeep left the west side of the road on Route 97 and struck a power pole.

The woman believed to be Kern's girlfriend - 24-year-old Emmaline Osborne - was arrested yesterday on charges of First Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
