    In a game that was "do-or-die" for the Monterey baseball team, the Wildcats scored six runs in their final two series at the plate to secure an 11-6 win over Pickett County in the District 7-A play-in game on Thursday evening at the Parkview fields. Much like in Monday's 8-1 win over Van Buren County, Devon Nagucki and Jesse Raines led MHS in batting against the Bobcats on Thursday, as the two hit a combined three home runs and six RBIs.
