    The drowning of a 21-year-old East Moline, Ill., man at Lake of the Ozarks Sunday night was caused by a faulty breaker box on a dock that electocuted the victim before he drowned. According to a report prepared by the Osage Beach Fire Department, Ameren, and the Missouri Highway Patrol, the occupants of the house on Valley Dr. in Osage County noticed that the breaker on their dock was tripping after being reset.

    According to a press release from the Osage County Sheriff's Office, 37 year-old Kenneth McMullin of Argyle was sentenced to three years in prison after being convicted of possession of methamphetamine, controlled narcotics, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The charge stemmed from a narcotics investigation conducted by Sheriff's deputies in July of 2014.

    Osage County Sheriff's deputies arrested Brandon T. Mayfield after he allegedly shot in the direction of his girlfriend and 19-month-old baby. At around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance involving shots fired from a fire arm on Highway M. According to a probable cause statement provided by the Osage County Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old Mayfield allegedly slashed the tires of his girlfriend's car after a verbal altercation.
