    According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on July 18, 2016, at 4:20 p.m., emergency crews were called to a motor vehicle accident involving a 2003 Outlander operated by Shannon Bean, 25, of the Village of Oriskany Falls, and a farm tractor operated by Brian Nelson, 25, of the Town of Westmoreland. Bean's vehicle was traveling westbound on West Carter Road in the Town of Westmoreland when it collided into Nelson's tractor as he was sitting on the north shoulder of the road, waiting to pull out on to the road.
