    For the second time in two months, a Michigan middle school teacher has pleaded guilty to charges of having sex with a student. Vaughn J. Canamore, 31, on Wednesday, Aug. 10, appeared in Ogemaw County Circuit Court in West Branch and pleaded guilty to one count each of first- and third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim between the ages of 13 and 16. In exchange, the prosecution agreed to dismiss two more counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

    The Roscommon County Prosecutor's office reports that Vaughn Canamore plead guilty to two counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct on July 19. Officials confirm that Canamore was a teacher at Charlton Heston Academy in Roscommon County on Oct. 14, 2015 when prosecutors say he committed the crime. Canamore, who lives in West Branch, is also facing four first-degree criminal sexual conduct charges in Ogemaw County.
