The Attorney General's Office filed the appeal Friday in 2nd District Court on behalf of the Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office concerning a 2nd District Court decision prohibiting Kyle N. Rios' blood alcohol content of 0.263 percent from being used at trial.

Lewiston Fire Chief Travis Myklebust told city councilors during Monday's work session the Federal Aviation Administration is requiring a tentative location to be set by that date to fit into the agency's grant timelines. If the city and the airport can't agree on a location by that time, they will likely have to wait at least another year to qualify for the federal dollars that will help build the aircraft rescue and firefighting station, or ARFF.
