    Herleine Pulley Joyner of Spring Hope, and active member of the Peachtree community and the founder in 2003 of the Peachtree Community Senior Citizens Group, died on Jan. 22. Her funeral was held Saturday. She was 93. A native of Nash County, she married and spent many years in Philadelphia, Pa., working for the Internal Revenue Service, before returning to North Carolina in 1989.
