    A 26-year-old Cadillac woman was killed in a crash on U.S. 131 in Mecosta County early Friday, according to Mecosta County Sheriff Todd Purcell. Megan Grace Raven, a 2007 graduate of Pine River High School, was killed after the vehicle in which she was a passenger overturned after striking the back of a semi-truck.

    Mecosta County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a traffic accident with injuries on northbound U.S. 131. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found that a passenger vehicle had run into the rear of a tractor-trailer that had broken down and pulled to the side of the roadway.

    Mecosta County deputies said a 20-year-old Morley man, a 19-year-old Stanwood man, and a 62-year-old Morley woman are awaiting arraignment in 77th District Court in Big Rapids following the overnight incident on Jan. 24. According to the sheriff's department, deputies chased a vehicle down Northland Drive in Aetna Township near Morley Stanwood High School after the vehicle fled during a speed-related traffic stop about 10 p.m. The two men fled on foot after pulling into an Aetna Township driveway, deputies said. They were later found and arrested at a residence in Deerfield Township.
