    The Michigan Department of Transportation is going to be rebuilding a stretch of U.S. 131 from the south Ocseola County line to north of U.S. 10. The project is expected to start later this month and continue through the fall. Beginning on April 1, a no over width or overweight restriction on the stretch of freeway beginning at the 19 Mile Road exit in Mecosta County to 11 Mile Road in Osceola County will be put in place.

    A 20-year-old woman has been arraigned on charges that she allegedly broke into two apartments at a housing complex in Big Rapids Township, according to a news release from the Mecosta County Sheriff's Department. Victoria Wyatt was arraigned Friday and is being held on a $20,000 bond for felony breaking and entering, the department said.
