    Township trustees took no action on joining a Mahoning County Fire Chief's and Mahoning County Career and Technical Center proposal to build a $600,000 training tower at the school. Green Township Fire Chief Todd said the association was attempting to build the tower and the MCCTC would cover $300,000 of the cost and the proposed asking fee is $4,500 annually for 10 years from each fire department.

    A federal grand jury has handed up a four count indictment charging 35-year-old Daron Nesbitt with distributing marijuana, heroin and MDMA, which is also known as ecstasy. When the indictment was unsealed on Tuesday, Nesbitt was already being held in the Mahoning County Jail on five counts of drug trafficking issued by the county grand jury.
