Police say, the arrest was based on an investigation into multiple Madison County burglaries in which a large amount of appliances, light fixtures, doors, flooring and other building materials were taken. Investigators recovered the stolen items from Hughes home and say most of the items have been returned to the property owners; however, they still have several appliances, tools, light fixtures, and flooring that have not been claimed.
